Triplett 630-PLK Analog VOM Multimeter w/ and 49 similar items

I acquired this multimeter decades ago either from my friend Mike or from school. It was used when I first got it and I used it for many years and until the advent of digital multimeters. Sadly since then this meter has gone neglected on the shelf. I did have some premise to removed the "D" cell after it went bad but not before it leaked a little. It still has the original spare fuse mounted under the battery. Look closely at my photos. It still is a very cool meter to look at, especially the inside. The transparent case has had some damage, upper left forward has a small edge section missing but it still appears to make a seal barely but, now that I look at it again, the clear face has similar kind of damage on its sides (both) and it all kinda looks deliberate. Maybe the owner prior to me removed some of the plastic to allow venting? I'm not sure. The case has scratches, a couple small chips around the screw mounting holes and a little cured glue type substance on the top. Even a tiny burn from a soldering iron? These were tools of the trade and used daily when I was young. I never thought it might become a collectible but I always admired it for it's unique design and quality feature.
