Little Red Riding Hood-Storybook and 50 similar items

Lamar of California was famous for hand decorated ceramics. The thick glossy glaze was recognizable. Lamar thrived during the war years as imports were all but cut off. This little lady wears a hooded cloak and a floor length gown. She carries a blue open basket (perhaps flower holder?) and a small bouquet of pink and blue flowers. She has a sweet painted face. The bottom of the figure has part of the original foil sticker. There were other storybook and nursery rhyme characters produced at the same time. Measures 5" tall X 2.5" X 2" oval base. There is very minor crazing consistent with age.
