Sterling silver commemorative medallion pendant from the 1936 Rose Show at Rose Polytechnic Institute (now Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana). Oval medallion with hammered/stippled border; central raised relief of an elephant ? the school's mascot ? surrounded by raised text reading "ROSE SHOW · 1936." Reverse stamped "Rose Polytechnic Institute." Suspended from an 18" sterling silver rope chain stamped "925 Italy" at the lobster clasp.
