0.1L German Eichstrich Calibration Mark ? Heidelberg Castle Souvenir
This vintage German shot glass features colorful artwork of a wine barrel surrounded by grapes and leaves, along with the text ?Schloss Heidelberg? and ?Weinstube.? It was sold as a souvenir from the Heidelberg Castle area, a major historic landmark and one of Germany?s most visited destinations.
The glass includes the traditional German Eichstrich calibration mark above the 0.1L fill line. This mark indicates the glass was certified for accurate measured alcohol service in Germany. This style of marking predates the later CE/year metrology stamps, placing the glass in the late 1990s to early 2000s era.
