Gorgeous free form art deco Gatsby style original natural salmon red coral.
Unique original design medallion pendant in solid 18k gold.
Marked - k18, 750.
Tomato red coral is approximately 12 carat.
20 millimeters or 1 inch x 15 millimeters or 3/8 inch x 9 millimeters.
6.8 grams of solid 18k gold.
Mediterranean
Red coral grows on rocky sea bottom with low sedimentation.
Typically
in dark environments, either in depths or dark caverns or
crevices.
The original species, C. rubrum (formerly Gorgonia nobilis).
Found mainly in the Mediterranean Sea.
