Circa 1855 - 1899 A lovely sweet chime sounds on the half-hour in this Antique clock made by Japy Freres, France. The French movement is by Japy Frres and is of the makers usual high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video below to hear the bell and watch the clock running. Japy Frres clockmaker's mark on the movement backplate. Clock measurements: 17" tall to tip of finial, 12" wide and 7 inches front to back on the base from foot edge to foot edge.
