Item description
This is a heavy-duty 3D printed replacement gear for the GE Opal Nugget Ice Maker (1.0 2.0) LINIX gearbox. It replaces the nylon gear that directly connects to the motor inside the gearbox assembly.
This upgraded gear is printed using carbon fiber reinforced nylon for added strength, durability, and heat resistance. Each gear is manufactured at 100% solid infill to maximize structural integrity and long-term performance.
?? Important:
This listing is for the motor-contact gear only (LINIX gearbox version). Please confirm compatibility before purchasing.
If your ice maker continues to make noise after replacing the gear, additional gearbox components may be worn or damaged.
Common additional issues may include:
Worn or failed bearings
Damaged gearbox shafts
Broken shaft runners
Internal gearbox wear beyond the main gear
In some cases, machines require both a new gear and new bearings to fully resolve noise or grinding issues.
