Finished needlepoint tapestry Winter night and similar items

This is a lovely hand embroidered, needlepoint (petit point), tapestry with a true retro charm or known as gobelin needlepoint. The tapestry depicts a snowy village scene with a moon in the night sky. It is a Wiehler gobelin (well known German manufacturer of needlepoint tapestries since 1893). The original design is based on a pinting by the 17th century Dutch artist, Jacob van Ruisdale. The tapestry, was made and finished in the 1970s or the 1980s. It is preserved in a very good codnition, without damages of any kind. In the right frame it will looking stunning on some wall in your home, giving rustic and retro touch to your interior.
