24mo (3 1/2" by 5 1/2")
Very fine, uncut copy in tan cloth-backed blue-gray boards with paper label to front cover upon which is printed the title within a narrow decorative border.
Hand-set and printed on a hand press by Edmund W. Brooks.
Text initials in red, green and blue.
Lamb's lyrical miniature essay recounts a dream.
Debut production of Brooks's Reed Pale Press--named for Caxton's "Sign of the Red Pale"--and identified by a shield device with a heraldic red pale (a single vertical stripe occupying the shield's center.)
