edges, else fine; in a near fine dust jacket with a minor crease to the
upper rear panel.

It all starts when an
ex-sergeant, just discharged from the U.S. Army, gets caught in bed with
his former commanding officer's wife. The chase begins in this "fairy
tale for sophisticated adults."
The sixth novel by the screenwriter ("A
Place in the Sun") and author who's first book was "A Walk in the Sun"
(1944), which was adapted to film.
