UP FOR SALE: Substantial tortoiseshell art glass handbag vase with rich amber and black casing and strong vertical ribbing. This piece weighs just under 6 pounds and has impressive thickness and presence. The ribbed optic body creates dramatic light movement through the amber and black tortoiseshell pattern. Features a clear applied collar, applied scroll handles, and decorative clear nubs at the rim. The base is recessed, ground, and polished, consistent with studio furnace production. Measures approximately 8 inches tall and 6+ inches wide (see photos for exact measurements). Condition is very good overall. There is one very small chip to the clear collar (see circled photo).
