UP FOR SALE: Blenko Art Glass sculptural Western cowboy hat, hand-signed and dated 1989. This is a large-format studio piece measuring approximately 14 inches across the brim and just under 7 inches tall. It has substantial presence and weight ? far from a small novelty form. Executed in clear crackle glass with a hot-applied cobalt blue band around the crown. The crackle treatment is deep and dimensional, creating strong light refraction across the entire surface. The applied band is smoothly integrated and fully intact. The Top pf the Hat is hand-engraved and dated 1989. Please review close-up images of the signature for exact reading. Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The rim is smooth, the brim edges are clean, and the applied cobalt band is secure. This form represents Blenko?s late-1980s studio experimentation with sculptural novelty designs ? considerably less common than their production bottles and decanters.
