American Stage Wagon, Mounted Collotype Print and 50 similar items

This collectible collotype print was produced by Olwen Caradoc Evans, Wales, UK and then hand coloured. The reverse is blank The mounted size measures 337mm x 295 with an aperture of 265 mm x 210 mm The print has been covered in a non-reflective protective film. The subject of the prints is an American stagecoach leaving a building possible a tavern or overnight hostelry along a fenced track. This collotype print, orininally attributed to Isaac Weld, are in good condition. Weld, an Irish explorer and artist born on 15 March 1774, travelled across North America in the late 1790s before returning to Ireland in 1797. The mounted prints will be flat packed in an A3 card backed envelope.
