Some minor wear but great condition for the age. Ornate carved handle, not sure what material.
Origin: Made in Germany (Solingen region), known for superior steel.
Maker: Often marked as "A. Newton Sons" or "Josiah Newton Sons", with some examples featuring "A.D. 1792" or "A.D. 1780" as a brand, not necessarily the manufacture date.
Design: These are traditional straight razors, sometimes with ornate etchings on the blade, such as windmills.
