Sourced from one of the purest salt deposits on Earth, every urn is naturally unique, with variations in color and finish that may range from deep rust and soft pink to tan, white, or blended tones influenced by mineral content. Designed specifically for water ceremonies, the Himalayan Rock Salt Adult Urn is ideal for sea burials and water funerals. When placed in water, the urn is guaranteed to dissolve naturally within approximately four hours, offering a respectful and environmentally conscious method of disposition. Each urn includes a biodegradable bag and tie for holding the cremated remains before placement inside the urn. For secure closure, the urn should be sealed using a non-toxic wood or paper adhesive, which is not included. This natural vessel provides a meaningful and earth-honoring farewell. Sizing Guide Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger.
