An original fully restored Stimpson five pound candy scale with an off set base, circa 1900.
Stimpson revolutionized the design of computing scales by creating a way for a merchant to weigh and price an item in one step.
Stimpson was located in Louisville from 1919 until 1987.
Manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana.
The scale measures 19" tall by 8" deep by 16" wide weighs 26 pounds.
