Item description
Swiss Ebonized Wood Trimmed Burl Walnut and Maple Inlaid Music Cylinder Box 1890s by Troll and Baker, Geneva
The rectangular hinged lid centering a brass and mother-of-pearl inlaid lozenge form detail, composed of undulating floral vine within rosewood and ebony borders, enclosed by large panels of burled walnut and framed in ebony alternating tulipwood banding within conforming ebonized wood trim, over similarly inlaid sides and opening to an interior fitted with a burlwood framed glass window covering the polished brass and brushed steel music works, centering a music cylinder, length 15", diameter approximately 3" within a hand crank handle on left side and two nickel plated levers "CHANGE/REPEAT" above "STOP/PLAY," on right side.

Measures 27" wide, 12 1/2" deep and 8 1/2" tall.
