This memorial chest features a striking two-tone piano finish with gently curved sides, combining a piano walnut?finished top and base with black piano?finished sides on select solids and veneers. The interior is felt-lined and secured with a polished brass?finished lock and key accented by a decorative tassel, reflecting fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. Designed to hold up to 275 cubic inches, the urn accommodates an internal container, which is available separately. A mail-in card is included for a complimentary engraved personalization plate, allowing for a meaningful and lasting tribute. Howard Miller has made these chest urns specifically to fit the dimensions of the box you get from the funeral home/crematorium. Sizing Guide Generally, 1 Pound of person/pet equals approx. 1 cubic inch of remains. For example, a 200-pound person would need a 200 cubic inch urn or larger. However, if you have a certain size urn, most funeral homes can make certain adjustments to accommodate that size urn, within reason.
