Vintage Carnelian Agate Necklace 12mm Beads and similar items

UP FOR SALE: This is a beautiful vintage carnelian agate bead necklace featuring large, hand-polished stone beads linked in solid silver. The beads are natural carnelian chalcedony quartz, showing rich reddish-orange to warm amber tones with natural internal color variation and translucency. As seen in the photos, the beads are not perfectly machine-round ? they are subtly off-round and hand-finished, consistent with vintage lapidary work and early bead production. Each bead measures approximately 11.5?12 mm in diameter and is individually hand-linked with solid silver wire. The necklace measures approximately 20 inches end to end and closes with a traditional S-hook clasp. The silver has been tested and confirmed as solid silver; the piece is unmarked, which is common for vintage and earlier silver jewelry. Total weight is approximately 134 grams, giving this necklace a substantial, high-quality feel when worn. Construction, materials, and style suggest a vintage piece dating roughly from the 1920s?1940s, possibly European or export silver work. Condition is very good vintage condition.
