SIGNED to the title page by the three-time Barry Awards winning late author and Prime Time TV series producer. Perry's first novel and the first entry in the Butcher Boy series earned numerous accolades including winning the Edgar Award and garnering a nomination for the John Creasey Award. Rather elusive in the first printing, especially SIGNED. A presentable collectible with NO remainder mark. Upper and lower spine edges slightly crimped, a few tiny, light tan stain-dots to the outer page edges, light tan spots to the for-edge margins of the rear end-paper and last page of text, else very good plus, and quite tight in black linen boards with gilt embossed titles to the spine, black-and-white headband and tail-band; in a very good plus, very mildly crimped dust jacket with a bright and UN-faded spine panel, with a trace of fading and a quarter-inch tear to the front panel's lower edge, a tear and a surface nick to the lower spine end, tiny rubs to the upper spine edge, and very faint damp-stains to the rear panel's lower edge; the front inner flap shows two creases to its lower corner.
