Item description
Here goes: based on my internet research, this was a box used by the French Army to hold glass negatives from the camera in an observation airplane during the 1st World War. This makes sense, as the box is built like a proverbial brick sh*t-house and the stencil of "PH" would seem to indicate it's purpose for "PHotographs".
Dimensions: 11 X 11 X 5 inches
Weight: 9 lbs
Condition: excellent, with no dents, dings or scratches to mention, especially considering the vintage.
Price includes domestic shipping.
French Army chat not included no matter how much you beg.
