UP FOR SALE: This exceptional antique diamond ring dates to the early Art Deco period, circa 1915?1925, and features a classic platinum shield (?stop-light?) design that bridges late Edwardian elegance and emerging Deco geometry. The ring is crafted in solid platinum and set with fifteen natural old-cut diamonds, including three larger Old Mine Cut diamonds forming the central panel, surrounded by twelve smaller accent diamonds. All stones are bezel set, a hallmark of high-quality workmanship from this era. The diamonds are estimated to total approximately 1.20 carats combined, with individual weights and grades consistent with antique hand-cut stones. Diamond characteristics are typical for the period, presenting in the J?K color range with VS2?SI clarity, and no fluorescence has been observed. This ring retains its original antique construction and has not been modernized or reworked. As expected with authentic antique jewelry, it shows honest age-appropriate wear.
