(Internal #CAB-3-2) Excellent front-view cameo of an African-American Woman wearing a lovely wide-brimmed hat. New, organic pine resin, hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo bookmark in MILK CHOCOALTE BROWN color, mounted on a piece of reproduction Victorian brass, then glued on a brass bookmark. Cameo itself is 1-3/8" long x 1-3/8" wide. Superb detail down to the texture of her hair, and even to the pupils of her eyes! I know because I do half the work in creating the cameos. Comes with information card. The theme of African-American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book "Cameos Old New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos).
