Item description
(internal #S-271-4) This is a 2-15/16" long (measured on the slant longest side), megalodon fossil shark tooth (coloring is natural from fossilizing in this color of sediment); solid specimen for a guy or gal (none of our teeth are repaired or restored, these are fully natural).
Nice brown coloration; nicked serrations near tip otherwise beautiful serrations; nick out of left root ear ant at juncture root and enamel on left
Weight: 1.3 ounces
The Megalodon dates to 25 million years ago and was 40-100 feet in length, their teeth average 2 to 7" in length; this tooth was found while diving in one of South Carolina rivers (St. Mary?s, St, Johns or Cooper River).
