LIONEL PREWAR O GAUGE 258 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE TINPLATE 1930'S WITH TENDER BRASS NICKEL TRIM. Six cars. Great condition. One box car does have a fair amount of paint loss on the roof. I acquired this set one year ago. It was my first Lionel prewar O gauge set, except for my childhood 1955 Lionel set. The previous owner said it was on display only, for the last 35 years. Some pieces were likely restored many years ago, while others may be original, but I do not have the expertise to tell. I have not run it. I did not know when I purchased this set that there were three sizes of O gauge, and have decided to pursue the large size, otherwise I would have considered this a keeper. Sturdy storage boxes are included.
