Part 1: Life on Camera
In nearly half a century of innovative wildlife film production, David Attenborough has put forward his unique perspective. He revisited and reviewed key places and events in his film production process, recalling his unforgettable wildlife scenes through his old photographs, including his capture of a Komodo dragon (the world's largest lizard) and swimming with dolphins. Returning to his usual destination of Kalimantan (Borneo), he recalled the challenge of photography in the Batcave and how he used modern technology to allow us to see there.
Part 2: Understanding the Natural World
David Attenborough reviewed the scientific discoveries that changed our understanding of life on Earth during his lifetime. Where did life first begin? How did it start? How does the continent drift? How do animals communicate with each other? Why do they behave like that? Attenborough shared with us his memories as a scientist and the breakthroughs that helped him form his own profession.
Part 3: Our Fragile Planet
In his final film, he reflects the enormous impact of humanity on the natural world during his lifetime. He talked about the amazing changes seen by the pioneers of natural resource conservation who worked with him in the first 60 years, as well as the global revolution in their views on the natural world. During his journey from London Zoo to the jungles of Kalimantan (Borneo), he revealed what inspired him to become a natural resource conservationist. He remembers his classic encounter journey with mountain gorillas, blue whales, giant tortoises, and more. All of these have changed the public's perspective on the natural world.
