This bone china DINNER PLATE is from Spode's gorgeous and versatile 'Delphi' pattern (Y8022). This pattern was produced in England between 1962 and 1994. The design features a delicate gold leaf and vine motif around the inner rim with gold trim on the outer edge. This pattern exemplifies Spode's refined craftsmanship and attention to detail with each golden leaf so beautifully painted and the entire pattern one of elegant simplicity and timeless design. This Delphi pattern was retired by 1994 and so can only be purchased from the secondary / resale market like this listing. This near mint condition set is as close to "new" as you can get when replacing or expanding your number of settings or purchasing the set new (see Please Note comment below for quantity of pieces available). Approximate size: This plate is approximately 10.5 inches in diameter (measuring across plate). Condition: Although this piece was pre-owned, it was lovingly owned and well protected with no damage (chips, cracks, crazing / crackles, major scratches beyond surface) and do not show excessive usage.
