Vintage Green Engraved Roman Soldier and 47 similar items

Here is a vintage green glass intaglio choker necklace and bracelet set from the 1940s that exudes charm with its simulated Chrysoprase green glass stones. The stones have been engraved with profile images of Roman Centurion soldiers wearing different styles of helmets. They are bezel set in the metal that overall is white gold-plated brass. The spring ring clasps work well on both pieces. Please pay attention to the size of this set, these are for a smaller neck and wrist. The necklace measures 14-1/4" long and the bracelet is 6-5/8" long. Both have stones that are 1/2" and make up the widest part of these pieces. The panels are 3/8" wide. Notice all the detail to the jump rings and scrolled panels. Very nice and still beautiful after all this time shows to me how well made these pieces were originally created as costume jewelry even though unsigned. All the stones are in great condition free of cracks or chips. What I first thought was nicks on the flat part of the stones is just where the engravement process went over on it slightly and is not damage but there are a few fine light scratches here and there. Metal has only light minor wear. View photos that show inside some of the connector rings show a bit of brass. Difficult to notice when worn.
