"First published in Great Britain by Michael Joseph LTD" statement to the copyright page.
SIGNED to the title page in blue ink by the late, three-time Edgar, Gold Dagger, Cartier Diamond Dagger, and MWA Grand Master Awards winning author, and former champion steeplechase jockey.
The author's tenth mystery features Neil Griffon, a former antique dealer, and business consultant, who acts as a temporary horse trainer while his father is in the hospital.
Nicely preserved SIGNED first printing.
A hint of crimping to the upper spine edge and corner tips, else very nearly fine and tight in black linen boards with gilt embossed titles to the spine, black-and-red map illustrated end-papers; in a near fine dust jacket with photo art by Beverly Le Barrow to the front panel, with a short minor crimp to the upper front panel, and to the upper spine edge; original printed 1.75 net price still intact to a mildly creased front inner flap.
