Fine, square, tight and unread in black satin-finished linen with gilt embossed titles, borders and daggers to the spine, black-and-yellow headband and tail-band; in a very nearly fine dust jacket with artful marbled borders and Dick Francis profile art to the front panel, and with a short minor surface scratch to the spine panel.
