Set in London featuring the 'Youth Underworld', especially one who eventually becomes a successful criminal, and then a murderer.
Fleming was a two-time Gold Dagger Award winning, critically acclaimed mystery author, and her novel THE DEEDS OF DR. DEADCERT was adapted to the 1958 film titled 'RX Murder'.
Minute crimp to the upper and lower spine ends, else near fine in brick-red linen boards with gilt embossed titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with 1960s period art by Margaret Murray, with a few short shelf-edge tears, rubs to the upper and lower spine ends, a crease-line rub to the lower front corner, and a minor light-tan stain to the upper edge of the rear panel; original printed 1.25 net, 25s. net prices still intact to the front inner flap.
