Description:
Vintage Chinese Yixing Zisha (purple clay) teapot in a pumpkin gourd form (???) with leaf and stem relief decoration.
Base bears a square impressed seal reading ?????? (Hui Mengchen Made) ? a tribute mark referencing the renowned Qing dynasty master potter.
Details:
Origin: Yixing, Jiangsu, China
Material: Purple clay (Zisha)
Mark: ?????? (Hui Mengchen Made)
Shape: Pumpkin gourd (Nan Gua Hu)
Size: Approx. 6" (15 cm) wide
Condition: Good vintage condition; stable hairline near spout (see photos), normal surface patina, no major chips
Era: Estimated 1970s?1990s (Factory No.1 or artisan workshop)
