Item description
From the same Czech breeder as Bibi, Valdo is shaped a little more like a peanut than a pear. The variety is very prolific, thicker-skinned - so it holds up well - and has a nice crunchy/ sweet bite. The plant seems resistant to many common foliage diseases and bears late into the fall. The first ripe ones come in about 68 days from transplanting. I'm definitely growing this one again next year for market. 40 seeds per packet.
