This part replaces the faulty, dripping valve on my Whirlpool washer model# WTW4800BQ0. This valve is exactly the same, down to the stickers. That's what made the choice easy for me. I could see the exact sticker information and match it to mine. The valve is brand new and came packaged very securely with lots of padding to prevent damage. I don't know where the seller gets original parts for such an old machine but I am glad I didn't have to sort through the hundreds of OEM parts elsewhere. I already installed the valve and have run multiple loads of laundry without any problem.
