UP FOR SALE: Charming mid-19th-century Staffordshire flatback figurine depicting Princess Victoria Adelaide Mary Louise (the Princess Royal) as a child standing beside her dog. Hand-painted with vivid turquoise, orange, and gilt accents on a creamy white glaze typical of the period. Measures approximately 5" tall. Base is unmarked, as common for these early examples. Displays beautifully and would make a fine addition to any Staffordshire, English pottery, or Royal Family collection.
