The thirty-first of fifty-two mystery novels featuring hard-boiled Los Angeles private detective Mike Faraday, this time aided by Stella.
Clear tape-shadows to the front and rear covers, remains of a manila envelope and "Discard" and "Library" rubber-stamps to the front end-paper, "Discard" stamped to the title page, stamped to the outer page fore-edges, front upper corner tip bumped, else good plus in black linen boards with silver embossed titles to the spine; in a very good price-clipped dust jacket with the remnants of a white label-sticker to the lower spine panel, with cover art by Colin Andrews.
The jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve, after photographing for this entry.
