Synopsis:
Sara Stanley was the only daughter of Montreal tycoon Blair Stanley, and her mother Ruth Stanley passed away from tuberculosis when she was about one and a half years old. In the spring of 1903, Blair was forced to undergo an investigation on suspicion of embezzlement of public funds and faced charges of embezzlement. Blair's own daughter Sarah was sent to live with relatives in her mother's hometown, the seaside town of Evans on Prince Edward Island, and Blair was subsequently wrongfully imprisoned. Despite Sarah's aunt Heidi being harsh and her cousins being lawless in their pranks, she managed to adapt to everything at the Jin family farm.
