SIGNED by the renowned mountain climber, adventurer, and author, to the front end-paper.
Illustrated with color map rear end-paper by Anita Karl, and with striking wood-cut illustrations throughout by Randy Rackliff.
Barely perceptibly crimped to the upper and lower spine edges, else tight, square and fine in polished white over silver-gray boards with silver embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine, black-and-white headband and tail-band, deckle page fore-edges; in a very good dust jacket with publisher's silver "Signed" sticker to the front panel, a one-inch crimped tear to the upper rear panel edge, and a discreetly invisible vertical razor-slice to the upper rear panel; original printed $24.95 price still intact to the front inner flap and date code 5/97 to the rear flap.
NO remainder mark.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve after scanning for this entry.
