The seventh and last well-plotted mystery featuring Miss Lynn MacDonald, an analytical crime detective, is set at a lake resort in Nevada, involves an ex-senator and a county sheriff who calls for the help of MacDonald to clear up this murder puzzler.
Strahan earned a Scotland Yard Prize for her locked room novel FOOTPRINTS.
Slight fading to the front cover corners, rubbing to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, mild soil stains to the covers, yellowing to the spine, else about very good, square and sound in blue linen, with bright gilt embossed titles to the front cover, and with tarnished and flecked-off gilt titles to the spine; lacking a dust jacket.
