This brand new Vera Wang Lavender Label gown is a dead ringer for a vintage gown from the 1940s. I chose it because of the vintage looking lines and the way the skirt flows. We accessorized it to show you how you could take a modern gown and make it work for a vintage affair. The emerald green gown is 100% silk chiffon in a perfect kelly green color. It's ruched and gathered in all the right places. The skirt is gathered at the waist but subtly, and there is an underarm zipper, just like a gown of the 1940s.
