Which Data Blocker Do I Need? Check the end of your cable that plugs into a charger (not the end which plugs into your device!) and match it to the image on the left, Most public chargers use a USB-A shape socket, so if your cable is also USB-A then you need our USB-A to A data blocker. But if your cable is USB-C and you want to charge from a USB-A shape socket, then you need to also convert the shape to charge from public sockets. Our USB-A to C blocker does that. There are now also many USB-C public chargers, if you'd like to charge from these then you need our USB-C to A blocker or our USB-C to C blocker depending on the shape of your cable's connector.
