Under the Big Top Series
by Gerhard Skrobek
Limited Edition Goebel Collectors' Club, 1986
This young clown figure was created exclusively
for members of the Goebel Collectors' Club, hand
sculpted with lots of color and fine detail.
? This piece is hand numbered #4868
? Measures approx. 7.25" high
? Bears the blue Goebel, W. Germany trademark
and the artist's etched "Strobek" signature
on the underside of coat tail
? Purchased directly from the Goebel/Hummel
company as is, regretfully, the small pinkie finger
on the clown's left hand is broken/missing,
however, item was shown and includes a small
silk-like flower on the hand, carefully covering
that broken finger, otherwise in great condition,
no cracks or crazing, base has some staining;
sorry, no box or paperwork
