Mr. Grossman was invited to attend the recording process of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" on Tuesday, February 28th, 1967. During the evening, he took hundreds of beautiful black white photos. What is so special and unusual about Mr. Grossman's book is that he printed those photos for publication in their chronological order. One can actually see the Beatles in action, rehearsing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" as a minute-by-minute "photo-journal", all in the order in which it happened. Housed in a deluxe limited edition volume, these beautiful images are presented in chronological order, allowing the evening to unfold for the reader just as it did for Henry. This splendid work-of-art contains more than 250 photographs of the session, the great majority of which have never been published before. Strictly limited to 1967 hand-numbered copies, each 11? X 11? hardcover book is individually hand-signed by Henry Grossman and housed in a deluxe clamshell case. The book?s 240 silver-edged pages are printed on heavyweight art paper with image varnishing.
