Item description
Traditionally grown in the French village of Tarbais at the foot of the
Pyrenees, this large, flattened, white bean is produced on vigorous 6-7
foot vines. Creamy texture and a thin skin make this a wonderful soup
bean.. They are used in the traditional 'cassoulet' or winter stew. Vigorous vines reach about 6 foot and do well even in wet weather. 90 days or so to dry beans. Quite rare.
45~50 seeds per packet.
