Extremely rare Victorian leather-covered presentation flask, dated 1895, inscribed:
"Presented to Mr. Sam Omerod with gratitude from the players of Manchester City Football Club 1895."
Material: Leather-covered body with metal (likely silver-plated) top
Decoration: Embossed hunting / rural scenes on the leather body
Inscription: Dedicated to Sam Omerod, manager of Manchester City FC (1893?1895)
Size: Approx. 6.2 x 4 inch
Condition: Antique condition with age-related wear, patina, and surface marks (see photos). Despite its age, it remains solid and could technically still be used, but it is best kept as a collectible antique.
A truly museum-worthy piece of Manchester City Football Club history, over 125 years old. Items of this kind are extremely scarce and rarely appear on the open market.
