Item description
Vintage lot of 2 hardcover books by James Henderson, with drawings and illustrations from Ernest Yelf. Both books were printed in Great Britain and measure approximately 8-3/4" tall, 5-3/4" wide, 7/8" thick.
1) The Frigates: An Account of the Lesser Warships of the Wars from 1793 to 1815
Published in 1970 by Dodd, Mead Company
2) Sloops and Brigs: An Account of the Smallest Vessels of the Royal Navy During the Great Wars 1793-1815
Published in 1972 by the Naval Institute Press
Both books are in very good condition. All pages are intact and clean, with secure bindings. There are no odors and no writing besides an inscription on the front flyleaf of "The Frigates". Dust jackets are included, with minimal shelf wear on the edges and corners. See photos.
