Antique Purse Glass Beaded Peacocks Florals and 39 similar items

Here is a high quality, beautifully handmade antique 19th century micro-beaded purse. This large example completely sewn and beaded by hand with colored glass beads and depicts a detailed peacock and flowers such as roses, daisies, and more on both sides. The large frame is done in a silver-plated material and has a scrolling pattern in relief.The clasp is fancy with what I think are three garnets. Has the original chain, The gold lining is all silk and in good condition, though it is beginning to split near the pocket. It's in nice antique condition and measures 9 1/2 inches long plus 1" beaded fringe,7.25 inches wide and the chain hsa a 7" drop. There is damage to the inside lining as shown in last photo. The gorgeous kid leather opera gloves are 21'" long and the same era as the purse and go together nicely. They are extra small at 2 3/4" across the hand and are in excellent clean condition overall, but there is one split at base of one finger on one glove..these are for display.
