Turquoise blue paint on frost white milk glass color scheme*. This mid-century modern pattern is also known as: Amish, Farmer Wife, Buttercup, Rooster Corn. The handles ("ears") go around the entire dish. This retro butter dish was made and originally advertised by PRYEX as "Serve 'N Store Butter Dish" between 1960 - 1968. Impressed underneath dish reads "TRADEMARK 32 PYREX MADE IN U.S.A." Glass has no chips or cracks. Lid seats firmly on base.
