Surrounding them are crops in the field, wheat sheafs tied together, roosters ( farm animals ) and corn plants. Rectangle shaped covered dish. Turquoise blue paint on frost white milk glass color scheme*. This mid-century modern pattern is also known as: Amish, Farmer Wife, Buttercup, Rooster Corn. The handles ("ears") go around the entire dish. This retro butter dish was made and originally advertised by PRYEX as "Serve 'N Store Butter Dish" between 1960 - 1968. Impressed underneath dish reads "TRADEMARK 32 PYREX MADE IN U.S.A." Glass has no chips or cracks. Lid seats firmly on base. There is paint fading on the "Amish" butter-print lid pattern (as shown in photos). See all photos and video detailing paint fade.
