Item description
The Story of the Trapp Family Singers SIGNED by Maria Augusta Trapp HC/DJ 1949
This was the story of the Von Trapp family, famously known as the Trapp Family Singers. It was a tale of determination and courage, set during the Second World War in a small Austrian village. The book was first printed in 1949, and it came complete with its original dust jacket and cover, which had only minor wear on the edges and corners.
?
Inside the book, the spine and all of the pages were intact and free from tears and markings. On the last page, there was an indent from a paper clip, with some rust marks on the edge, but otherwise, the book was in very good condition. Best of all, the author, Maria Augusta Trapp, had signed it on the first page!
?
The book was an enduring reminder of the spirit of the Trapp family. The courage and tenacity of Maria and her family as they faced adversity were deeply inspiring and filled with a warmth and optimism that could be felt in every line.
?
No matter the age of the book, this particular copy carried a timeless reminder of the impact of Maria and her family and a reminder that love and courage are still necessary virtues to navigate life?s journey.
